When not performing, touring or recording, A TOTAL FIASCO is also known as the Vance family: Sam, Candace, Max, Echo & Zoe. As a family act, we cover a range of styles, play a plethora of instruments, and offer an energetic show perfect for audiences of all ages!
Original material. Cover songs. Sets that mix it up and combine both. Expect to hear the sound of Americana, Indie/Folk, Alt Country, and Gospel, as well as the occasional Disney tune.
A Total Fiasco is the Vance Family: Sam, Candace, Max, Echo and Zoe.
Sam holds down the guitar and sings while remaining the principle songwriter. Candace, still his muse, sings, plays accordion, mandolin and upright bass. Max, their oldest, mostly plays the drums but also sits in on the guitar and bass from time to time. Echo and Zoe both sing and play piano (though it’s hard to travel with a baby grand); Echo also plays violin and bass. Zoe plays bass, is the sole ukulele player and is right there alongside Sam with a guitar, ready to take his job. This band of Fiascos has traveled regionally around the US and abroad.
